Shifra, Founder & Designer

Hey, hi, hello! My name is Shifra and I’m SO happy you’re here! I currently live in Las Vegas, Nevada with my 2 cats and 2 dogs, but my heart is wherever my toes can be in the sand. I believe life is best lived barefoot and I prefer sour cream with my latkes. In addition to designing for and running Hey Chai Hello, I'm a Law of Assumption & self-concept coach and a huge hockey fan (Go Knights!)

As a convert, I'm the first Jew in my family. That means I don't have a bubbe passing down the family challah recipe. There is no antique Judaica for me to inherit. My Jewish lineage starts with me. As such, Hey Chai Hello is one way I'm able to honor my soul's journey back to HaShem, and I can't thank you enough for being here and for following along.

Peace, love & sababa 🫶🏼

Hey Chai Hello

This is the part where I should be telling you a heartwarming story about the origins of Hey Chai Hello, but I must admit that it was born almost purely out of spite. Allow me to explain:

Like so many other Jews around the world, the horrifying terror attacks on October 7th were a catalyst for me to connect more deeply with my Judaism. I became significantly more open with my Jewish identity, antisemites be damned.

Hey Chai Hello offers trendy and meaningful designs you'll be proud to sport, be it out in the wild with friends or cozied up on a Shabbos afternoon at home with the fam. Whether you’re Jewish, or you’re here because you support Israel, or you simply support me, all are welcome to shop. 💙

If you're hoping to snag one of our designs in a style not currently listed, or if there's something else you'd love to see in our shop, please feel free to message me! Hey Chai Hello is here for the people, and I'd be thrilled to collaborate and bring your vision to life for all of us to enjoy. It takes a village (or in our case, a tribe.) 🤝🏼

🎗️ Yellow Ribbon Collection

The Yellow Ribbon Collection has been thoughtfully curated in remembrance and solidarity. Each design is a small act of resistance, remembrance, and love for the families forever changed on October 7th, 2023.

18% of profits from every item in the Yellow Ribbon Collection are donated to Our Children Our War, an Israeli nonprofit dedicated to supporting the children who lost one or both parents in the October 7th terror attacks. Their mission is to provide ongoing emotional, educational, and financial support to these young survivors — helping them not only endure, but thrive.

Your purchase directly helps fund long-term care and healing for these children. Thank you for standing with us and with them.
